    +1 on the F310, it was my first guitar and is very nicely made for the dosh with a surprisingly grown-up tone considering the materials! :)

    Because there aren't a huge amount of excellent acoustics for under £300, I decided to nominate the Yamaha F310 as for the dosh, it can't be beaten. I am no expert but, I have tried a few of the cheaper guitars and only three impressed me...
