Crack The Skye due Spring 2009
Atlantan metal dudes Mastodon have unveiled the artwork for forthcoming album Crack The Skye. No release date is confirmed as yet, but the album - Mastodon's forth - is due this Spring.
Brendan O'Brien (Springsteen, Pearl Jam, Audioslave) produces, and Neurosis frontman Scott Kelly guests on one song.
The album is typically Mastodon, with the artwork once again by Paul Romano, the artist who delivers every Mastodon album cover.
Beards, rainbows, see-through bears - it's got the lot.
