Our favourite audio interface just got a red hot discount at Amazon in the Prime Day sale
Prime Day just got even better for producers - our top-rated interface now has a healthy 32% discount

Prime Day is finally here, and there’s already a huge deal on our favourite audio interface. The Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 4th Gen is available at Amazon for just $169.99, which is a healthy $80 off of its usual price.
Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 4th Gen: $249.99, $169.99
Currently ranked as our top audio interface for producers, podcasters, and other creators, the Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 4th Gen combines super clean preamps with a huge range of features to make it one of the best and easiest-to-use interfaces around. It’s only been relatively recently released, so this is amongst the best discounts we’ve seen on Focusrite’s powerful red box.

This Prime Day music deal is available on the 2-in, 2-out Scarlett, which comes with instrument inputs on the front and XLR connectivity on the back. Two line outputs connect you to your studio monitors, all of which is fairly standard for an interface. The real kicker I’ve found with the Scarlett 2i2 4th Gen is the wealth of additional features it has that make tracking and mixing easier.
In our Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 review, we were full of praise for features like clip safe which prevents your input from clipping no matter how dynamic your signal. We also loved the auto gain function which takes a reading of your signal and then automatically adjusts the input gain to the perfect level. The ability to add a touch of high-end via the air function is also incredibly useful, giving you a bit of analogue warmth to go with those super clean-sounding preamps.
If you fancy something a little different, the 2i2 isn’t the only interface with a discount for the Prime Day sales. I also spied the Mackie Onyx Producer 2-2 interface with a huge 46% discount, bringing it down to just $64.95. The PreSonus AudioBox 96 25th Anniversary also has a cool 20% off the regular price and comes with Studio One 6 Artist Edition. Finally, if you’re a guitar player who likes to record, IK Multimedia’s guitar audio interface the Axe I/O One has a tempting $50 price reduction, a great way to get rock-solid recorded guitar tones at home.
