Starkey quits Oasis?

The Sun newspaper is reporting that Oasis drummer Zak Starkey (and son of Ringo Starr) has left the band due to disagreements with Noel Gallagher. The report claims that he has completed work on the new Oasis album, but will not be involved in its promotion.

A source 'close' the band, told The Sun: "There have been arguments with Noel Gallagher and general disagreements. It looks like the album will be his last involvement with the band".

The band are yet to comment on or confirm his departure. We'll bring you more news as we get it.
