Free sampled grand piano from Sonart
Yamaha C7 is now yours for nothing
Sonart Audio is giving a sampled version of Yamaha's C7 grand piano away for free (it previously cost $89). This is available in Kontakt, EXS24, Giga, HALion and WAV formats.
The package weighs in at 1.67GB and features a 24-bit library. Notes are sampled at 20 velocities, and there are release and noise layers. All the samples were captured by Sonart's sound designers.
The audio demos of the piano sound pretty good to us, so if your sonic arsenal is short of a decent sampled grand, give it a try. The only slight downside, of course, is that you'll need a sampler capable of hosting it.
Get it at the Sonart Audio website.
