The Sweetwater Black Friday deals haven't arrived just yet, but if you're here looking for an early deal you can bag up to 50% off recording and studio gear right now. Whether you're shopping for a new interface or a set of studio monitors, it's the perfect place to get your hands on some of the best studio gear in the world for a lot less ahead of the impending Black Friday sale on November 28th 2025.

Last year Sweetwater had a massive Black Friday sale with discounts of up to 70% off, so I expect to see something similar, or hopefully even bigger for this year's sale. With loads of great deals on a huge variety of gear, it was easily one of the best sales I saw for Cyber Weekend last year.

This year's sale isn't here just yet of course, but I expect to see deals start landing in late October/early November this year as the competition ramps up with different sales looking to tempt musicians with an early bargain. I'll be keeping this page up to date with all the best deals from the Sweetwater sale, so make sure to keep checking back.

Below you'll find links to the current sale at Sweetwater, as well as a handful of my top picks to get you started.

Editor's picks

Sennheiser HD 600
Save 40% ($200)
Sennheiser HD 600: was $499.95 now $299.95 at Sweetwater Sound

With a massive $200 reduction, these Sennheiser HD 600 studio headphones are the perfect addition to a studio where you already have a good pair of speakers. I like to use headphones to check the finer details of my mix like the stereo imaging and low end, balancing that with the overall picture through my studio monitors to really fine-tune the overall mix. These Sennheisers are super comfortable and deliver incredible detail, making them a very powerful addition to your workflow.

Focusrite Scarlett 4i4 4th Gen
Save 17% ($50)
Focusrite Scarlett 4i4 4th Gen: was $299.99 now $249.99 at Sweetwater Sound

The Scarlett 4th Gen audio interfaces are amongst my favourite ever made, and the 4i4 for me is the perfect balance of inputs versus price point when it comes to home studio work. 4 inputs is the sweet spot for allowing you to multi-mic sources, whilst being housed in a unit small enough to fit on a home studio desk. It’s got loads of additional functionality that can really streamline your workflow too, like the auto-gain and clip-safe functions, as well as the ability to add extra harmonic content via the air button. It’s currently $50 off in the sale, making it absurd value for money.

Pigtronix Constellator
Save 45% ($80)
Pigtronix Constellator: was $179 now $99 at Sweetwater Sound

At just $99, the Pigtronix Constellator is a brilliant deal at Sweetwater thanks to a huge $80 reduction in their Beat the Holiday Rush sale. It's an analog delay pedal that delivers a luscious warm wash that belies its budget price point. It's a seriously underrated bit of gear, and we love the modulated tones it can deliver, as well as the mini size which means it's easily able to fit onto any 'board.

Lewitt LCT 240 Pro
Save 15% ($30)
Lewitt LCT 240 Pro: was $199 now $169 at Sweetwater Sound

I’m a big fan of Lewitt microphones and this LCT 240 Pro condenser microphone is really great value for money at well below the $200 mark thanks to a $30 discount. As well as delivering superb detail and clarity to recordings, it also includes a shock mount and specifically designed pop filter for the microphone to keep your plosives in check. It also comes with windshield should you need to use it in noisy environments, and a carry case to keep it in good condition.

Rupert Neve 5058 Nexus Monitor Controller
Save 44% ($3,500)
Rupert Neve 5058 Nexus Monitor Controller: was $7,999 now $4,499 at Sweetwater Sound

Yep, you read that right, $8k for a monitor controller. It’s absolutely ridiculous but I implore you to go take a look at this crazy bit of gear, which has got one of the biggest discounts I’ve seen this year with $3,500 off. Based on the monitor section of the flagship Neve 5088 large-format console, the Class A analogue signal paths of this hardware ensure world-class sound and monitor control. It’s got talkback control and a dedicated headphone amplifier, making it a great all-rounder for pro or home studios that want the best of the best.

Adam Audio A4V
Save 10% ($60)
Adam Audio A4V: was $599.99 now $539.99 at Sweetwater Sound

With a $60 discount on a single Adam Audio A4V studio monitor, if you buy a pair you’re getting $160 off, which is a hefty chunk of change. These 4-inch monitors are perfect for smaller home studio setups where too much volume will be difficult to handle, giving you superb clarity in smaller spaces. The ribbon tweeter delivers delicious definition to your mixes while the onboard DSP allows you to fine-tune the monitors' response to your particular space.

Golden Age Project Pre-73 MKIII
Save 29% ($100)
Golden Age Project Pre-73 MKIII: was $349 now $249 at Sweetwater Sound

Using outboard gear can really take your mixes to the next level, offering a tone you can only get with actual transformers and capacitors. This Golden Age Prokect Pre-74 MKIII budget mic preamp is based on the classic Neve 73, giving you timeless sound from the comfort of your home studio. It’s got a cool $100 off at Sweetwater which takes it below $300, making it one of the best value for money preamps I’ve seen so far this year. Add in the fact it only takes up half a rack space and you’ve got a versatile bit of outboard gear for relatively little cash.

Does Sweetwater do Black Friday sales?

Sweetwater's Black Friday sale is one of the biggest shopping events of the year for musicians, delivering epic discounts on instruments, software and so much more.

Black Friday 2025 at Sweetwater will take place on Friday 28 November, but we expect the offers to start much earlier than that and to carry on through to the following Monday. That's Cyber Monday to you (we'll be bringing you our pick of the best Sweetwater Cyber Monday deals, too).

If past years are anything to go by we'd put good money on some deals landing in late October, giving shoppers early access to Black Friday levels of discount, without the stress of making purchases so close to Christmas. Shopping early also means people can plan their budgets better.

Sure, Black Friday at Amazon is one of the biggest online sales for stuff like headphones and TVs, but it's by no means the place to shop if you're a muso. If you want discounts on musical instruments, the Sweetwater Black Friday sale is where you should be looking - we’ll be rounding up all the best deals here.

What deals should I expect?

Last year’s Black Friday sale at Sweetwater was a real bumper affair, with seemingly endless offers on all types of musical instruments and accessories, from guitar amps and Black Friday plugin deals to electric guitar strings and home recording kit.

So we’re expecting this year’s Sweetwater Black Friday sale to bring more of the same, and cater to every type of musician. Sweetwater has been running all sorts of sales throughout 2025, which leads us to believe it’s gearing up for a very exciting run of offers in the lead-up to Christmas.

Based on what we have seen in previous years, you can expect to see big discounts on major and more boutique brands popping up among the best Sweetwater Black Friday deals. Last year saw massive discounts like up to $500off Charvel, $200 off Yamaha HS monitors, and a healthy $200 off a Universal Audio interface. If you're into acoustic guitars there were plenty of discounts on steel-string instruments too, including a huge $1,000 off a Guild acoustic.

Is Sweetwater good to buy from?

Sweetwater has a reputation for some of the best customer service throughout the whole music retailer industry. Not only is their customer service top notch but they also have a massive product selection, so chances are if you're after a particular piece of music gear, they'll have it.

We value our reputation so we would never recommend a retailer that isn't brilliant, so we can wholeheartedly recommend Sweetwater as an excellent place to buy music gear from.

How to prepare for this year's Sweetwater Black Friday deals

1. Create a wishlist early - There can be a lot of deals flying around on Black Friday, so it's important to zone in on the things you really want. Making a wishlist is a great way to keep your focus when the sales start happening.

2. Work out what you actually need - Consider your current gear collection and outline where the gaps are. Are you missing a delay pedal from your pedalboard? Perhaps you need more connectivity on your audio interface. Whichever it is, having a plan ahead of time will prevent you from pulling the trigger too early and regretting your decision.

3. Consider your music-making goals - Is your band going to be playing lots of gigs in the new year? Perhaps you're finally going to record that solo album you've been putting off for years. Think about what you want the new year to do for your music-making career, and buy gear that will help you hit those goals.

4. Make some room - Have you got enough room for that 4x12 cabinet? Having a pre-sale clearout is not only a great way to save space in your practice room or your home studio but can also free up funds for more gear!

Universal Audio Audio Apollo Twin X DUO

With a massive $200 discount, this is one of the cheapest prices I've ever seen an Apollo Twin X going for, most likely due to the fact that Gen 2 recently launched. Don't let that put you off if your budget can't stretch to the latest model, this is still a phenomenally good audio interface for home recording.

Sterling by Music Man Cutlass

A brilliant choice for beginners, the Sterling by Music Man Cutlass has got a super $150 discount at Sweetwater, taking the price down below the $200 mark. One of our favourite compact and affordable e-kits, the Roland TD-07DMK has got a nice $100 discount at Sweetwater, making it a great shout for a first-time drummer. It's particularly good if you're short on space due to the compact design, and features an awesome range of built-in sounds.

Lewitt Condenser Mics:

Lewitt Condenser Mics: Up to $200 off
We're big fans of the Lewitt mics here at MusicRadar, and we recently gave the Lewitt LCT 540 four and a half stars out of five, and the Lewitt LCT 640 received the same score; better yet, the latter currently has a $200 slashed off the price.
