I've been covering sales on music gear for a good few years now, and typically, the Christmas hangover takes a couple of months to get over. If you've been holding off on buying somethin,g however, there's a great opportunity to score some big savings thanks to the Presidents' Day sale at Musician's Friend, with some humongous discounts of up to 60% off.

Most of the biggest savings are on things like software, hence the large percentage off, but you can also save big on audio interfaces, electronic drum kits, and plenty of guitar gear, too.

With a huge range of gear from Epiphone and Fender to Line 6 and Universal Audio, the Musician’s Friend Presidents’ Day sale is a fantastic opportunity to bag yourself some heavily discounted guitar gear. There's also loads of recording gear, select PA systems, and keyboards if you want something other than a new guitar or pedal.

Musician’s Friend is also running a coupon code on select items, so you can bag 10% off select items from $45 to $98, and an even bigger 15% discount on items that are $99 and above. All you need to do is add a qualifying item to your basket and enter the code PRESDAY to claim your discount.

As it's part of my job to find the best deals on gear, I've had a look through the full sale to see what's available. The first thing to catch my eye was a hefty $150 discount on this Warm Audio WA-47 tube condenser microphone. I love a tube mic on vocals, so if you want to upgrade the sound in your studio, this is a great option.

In the best audio interfaces guide that I curated, I picked the IK Multimedia Axe I/O as the best option for guitarists, and it's got a nice $120 off in the sale right now. If you're regularly recording guitars it's an awesome choice, with a built-in tuner, options for impedance levels, and a switch that accounts for active and passive pickups.

They're not in the overall sale, but you can use the coupon deal to bag 15% off the Sony MDR-7506, which was my pick as the best budget option in our studio headphones guide. Using the code PRESDAY, you can bring the price of these headphones below $95, ideal if you need a budget mixing can or something for monitoring alongside a pricier pair.
