Can anything top Keith Moon's car in a swimming pool incident?

Axl: Angry

"Spare a thought for the poor schmuck cleaning the room", were the wise words muttered recently by Chris Martin. The Coldplay frontman was urging his fellow musicians not to trash hotel rooms and, although he didn't name-and-shame, this list published by travel bods Concierge.com, does.

Amy Winehouse features for making some sort of 'funny smelling' mess but it's the monsters of rock - Axl Rose and Keith Moon – that keep the flag flying for drug-fuelled mass destruction. MusicRadar does not approve of drug-fuelled mass destruction but it makes Michael Jackson's dangling a baby out of a window incident seem like child's play.

Axl and the rest of GN'R have trashed their fair share of hotel rooms over the years but a drunken argument in 2006, which lead to Axl biting the leg of a security guard, is used for reference here.

The late Keith Moon was no stranger to hotel debauchery either. You don't get much more rock 'n' roll than driving a car into a swimming pool.

The rest of the list consists of more divas (Britney Spears, Mariah Carey) and a bunch of unruly actors. MusicRadar would happily swap any of them for a member of Led Zeppelin, who helped make throwing televisions out of windows fashionable in the '70s.
