Barack Obama swearing sampled for song

Barack Obama: now a techno star.
Barack Obama: now a techno star.

Barack Obama's speeches had already been sampled by the likes of Nas and will.i.am, and now phrases from the audiobook version of his memoir have made it into a techno track by Remute.

However, this time, the focus is less on Obama's soaring oratory and more on his use of profanities.

In his book, Dreams From My Father, Obama occasionally quoted other people's curses, and because he recorded the audio version himself, these are on record for all to hear. And sample.

So, we hear him using a variety of expletives - most notably, motherf*cker - in the new song.

You can listen to it on YouTube, though if the US President's lawyers get involved, it might not be up there for long.
