Killswitch Head To The Studio With O'Brien
Massachusetts metalcore pioneers Killswitch Engage are gearing up to head to the studio to record their fourth album.
Uber-producer Brendan O'Brien (Pearl Jam, AC/DC, Mastodon) is set to man the controls on the follow up to to 2006's As Daylight Dies, marking the first time in the band's career they have worked with an outside producer.
KsE guitarist Adam Dutkiewicz, a noted producer in his own right who has recorded all of the band's previous albums, will be taking a co-producer role. The band will record in both Georgia and their native Massachusetts.
The album is tentatively planned for Spring 2009.
