It's being speculated that Apple has started shipping the new version of its MacBook laptop, which could mean that an announcement regarding the machine's specs and price isn't too far away.
Barron's reports that Citigroup's Richard Gardner believes that the new MacBooks are already in transit, and that they're notable for a "very thin aluminium casing, an LED-backlit display and an aggressive entry-level price point."
These specs tally up with those that MusicRadar has previously reported, so we'd be surprised if they turn out to be erroneous. What excites us the promise of a low price point - could this be the Apple laptop that's truly affordable?
At the moment, most Apple-watchers seem to think that the new MacBook will be unveiled on October 14, with a revised MacBook Pro - and possibly even an updated MacBook Air - also being shown. We shall see…
