Competition: Win Tickets to the Southern Comfort Juke Joint
London party with Hot Chip's Joe Goddard and more
We've teamed up with Southern Comfort to give away four tickets to their next Juke Joint party at the Metal Works in Islington, London on 17 November.
The night is headlined by a DJ set from Hot Chip's Joe Goddard, along with Blonde Ambition, The Dixon Brothers, Domin8or and John Hendicott.
Tickets aren't available to buy, so you get to feel pretty exclusive. Plus, we'll throw in a bottle of Southern Comfort to round the whole thing off.
Check out Southern Comfort's description of the night for more info:
"Back when it all started, the Juke Joint was a beat-up, run-down old shack where folks would gather to dance the night away. Music was at the heart of every Juke Joint, with musicians often turning up unannounced to jam amongst the crowd. Fast forward 100 years and the location may have changed but that Deep South spirit lives long and strong.
"On the dance floor you'll rub shoulders with live brass band musicians as they jam along to beats by DJs Blonde Ambition, The Dixon Brothers, Domin8or and John Hendicott.
"Headlining the one-off night will also be Hot Chip's Joe Goddard, one fifth of the chart-topping, visionary British quintet. But wait, that's not all, Soulshakers mixologist extraordinaire Giles Looker, will also be at the helm mixing up a storm with some original Southern Comfort drinks like the Cajun Thunder and the Louisiana Jam.
