Josh Pyke's giant acoustic guitar/speed boat has sold on eBay for $7,100 (Australian dollars).

The Maton-built 'Guitar Boat' sailed to fame in Pyke's Make You Happy music video. It's been a popular feature at the Australian National Maritime Museum in Sydney's Darling Harbour ever since.

All proceeds from the sale (approx £3225 GBP) go to the Indigenous Literacy Project when the lucky new owner takes ownership on 19 February. To the sounds of Rod Stewart's We Are Sailing, probably…
