Big Names Gear Up For Guitarfest 09

Some of the guitar world's biggest names will be unleashing their six-string talents on Birmingham at this year's Guitarfest on 11th July.


Shred legend Yngwie Malmsteen, Deep Purple's Glenn Hughes and Jerry Donahue of The Yardbirds will all be performing at the National Indoor Arena as part of the National Rock And Pop Festival from 10 to 13 July.


Joining them will be Michael Jackson's guitarist Jennifer Batten, tongue-in-cheek rockers Stone Gods, Living Colour's Doug Wimbish and Van Morrison's Sarah Jory.


With the biggest name performers and the greatest brands, Guitarfest 2009 is set to be the best show yet. Everyone from Vox, Ibanez, Dean, Marshall, Yamaha, Boss, Blackstar, Washburn, Peavey, Ashdown, Mesa Boogie, to Martin, Digitech and Fender will all be exhibiting under one roof, making it THE day for guitar enthusiasts everywhere.
