We're home from Download and we're all rocked out! We had an awesome weekend, and rest assured we worked our asses off to bring you the best festival feature with the biggest drum stars that you will ever read!
While the whole weekend was fantastic, every festival has its highlights, and these were ours… Listening to Vinnie Paul's crazy, unprintable stories about groupies on tour Having that conversation interupted by Stone Sour's Roy Mayorga and Mastodon's Brann Dailer when then tried to involve Vinnie in a mass pile-on Hanging out with Dave McClain on Machine Head's tourbus Getting Joey Jordison to lick his lips provocatively for a photoshoot Encouraging Mike Portnoy to eat festival fodder Escourting Killswitch Engage's Justin Foley to a Portaloo on the main site Blinding sets from Korn, Head Automatica and Motley Crue The lowest point was when we recieved a text from sent from an aeroplane to tell us that Matt Sorum would not be making an interview with us due to being on that plane - boo!
