Think your band can bust out a mean version of Whole Lotta Rosie? You say you do the best damn Walk Over You you ever heard? If so, and if you act now, you just might score a spot on an upcoming AC/DC tribute album.
Versailles Records has announced plans to release Rock & Roll Train: A Millennium Tribute to AC/DC later this year.
The set will feature contributions from members and ex-members of bands including Alice Cooper, Guns N' 'Roses, Slash's Snakepit, Michael Schenker Group, Warrant, LA Guns, and Mountain. Other artists are to be announced.
A bonus CD will be released with the tribute, set to feature original music inspired by Australia's biggest rock export.
So if you've got Big Balls (that's a joke, see?) e-mail Versailles Records at acdctribute09@yahoo.com. You'll need to provide a web link or a MySpace page to be considered.
And for those about to rock, whether you're chosen or not, MusicRadar salutes you.

Joe is a freelance journalist who has, over the past few decades, interviewed hundreds of guitarists for Guitar World, Guitar Player, MusicRadar and Classic Rock. He is also a former editor of Guitar World, contributing writer for Guitar Aficionado and VP of A&R for Island Records. He’s an enthusiastic guitarist, but he’s nowhere near the likes of the people he interviews. Surprisingly, his skills are more suited to the drums. If you need a drummer for your Beatles tribute band, look him up.
