UK prices announced for new Ampeg electrics

Pre-NAMM, MusicRadar revealed the launch of three new solid-body AMG100 electrics and a near-exact replica of the original Dan Armstrong 'Plexi' bass from Ampeg.

UK pricing has now been announced, and if you were tempted before, then these prices will have you reaching for your credit card.

The AMG100 BLD is £559 list and features a lightweight swamp ash body finished in vintage blonde. The mahogany-bodied AMG100 CH sports a vintage cherry finish and retails at £389, while the black version, with an alder body and very cool tortoise-shell scratchplate, lists at just £339.

Meanwhile, for those of you of a four-string persuasion, the ADA4 bass is £1279. Stock should arrive in the UK in early summer 2008.
