Ableton, creators of much-loved audio app Live have teamed up with promoters Hat-Club to host the third room of their club night at kicking London nightspot Turnmills on Saturday the 4th of August. To celebrate the pair have organised a DJing competition where you can win yourself a copy of Live 6, a days training instructing you how to get the most from it, and an M-Audio Axiom 49 keyboard.
The competition, which is open until Friday the 27th of July, requires you use your DJing skills to create a mix CD of what you'd play if you had a peak-time slot at a Hat-Club event. Mixes can be either funky / dirty house or electro, and must be accompanied by a 1-page biography. For more details check out www.hat-club.com.
