Developing good technique on your instrument is essential if you want to be able to play whatever you want at any given time. While you can get instant gratification quite easily on most instruments, any bad habits you pick up early on are hard to remove and can stop your playing from progressing beyond a certain point.

For drummers, good bass drum technique is one of the first skills to master. This video lesson shows you how to use the 'heel down' technique to strike the bass drum.
