Vans announce Off The Wall concert with Fightstar and FFAF
The night of 30 October sees the return of the Vans Off the Wall Music Night - one night of music, across 12 countries and featuring over 20 bands.
The UK leg of the event will see a special one-off UK co-headline show from Funeral For A Friend and Fightstar.
Bringing a little rock to Halloween, the pan-European music night will again take place simultaneously across different cities. Extending from five to twelve countries Vans will create an evening of rock and punk with live performances across, Germany, Greece, Italy, Poland, Portugal Serbia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, The Netherlands, UK and Ukraine.
Funeral For A Friend and Fightstar will co-headline the main stage at the brand new 02 Academy in Birmingham. For Funeral the show will mark the culmination of a month-long UK run supporting the release of their Your History Is Mine: 2002-2009 album on 28 September. Fightstar are also on the road in support of their latest Be Human album.
Supporting these two heavyweights of British rock on the night will be Welsh favourites Kids in Glass Houses, fresh out of the studio - where they have been working on the follow-up to their debut album Smart Casual - and set to storm the stage, and fellow countrymen and live favourites Attack! Attack!.
The Slam Dunk stage will also host a special reunion from Birmingham based Farse performing together for this night only and will be supported Blackfish and Me vs Hero. The third room will present the UK Now stage with Out of Sight, Saving Aimee and Young Guns to finish off a stellar line up.
Ticket holders for the Fightstar show previously scheduled on this date need do nothing as their tickets will be valid for the new event and both Saving Aimee and Young Guns will be joining the new bill from the Fightstar tour.
Fightstar ticket holders not wanting to see the Vans show should return their tickets to their original point of purchase for a refund before 18 October.
