Pearl Day fast approaching...

Pearl Day is only a couple of weeks away now. Featuring the likes of Dan Foord, Adam Perry and Michael 'Moose' Thomas and taking place at the East Midlands Conference centre in Nottingham Pearl Day 2008 is the perfect combination of astounding performers, awesome gear exhibitions, workshops and masterclasses suitable for drummers aged 1 to 100.

The Vision Stage will host a range of popular artists, who'll be putting Pearl's new Vision series through its paces by performing their own tracks and demonstrating the series' outstanding qualities for the stage's up-close-and-personal audiences. And if you want to have a bash yourself, you can set up camp in Pearl's dedicated Sound Test area - a first for any drum event - in which you'll get the chance to play a range of Pearl products including Reference and Vision kits, snares and percussion from across the Pearl range - without once being told to keep the noise down!

For more information and to buy tickets for the event visit the Pearl website, clicking through to Pearl Music Europe and the United Kingdom homepage. You can also find out more by checking out our previous blog HERE.

I'm MusicRadar's eCommerce Editor. In addition to testing the latest music gear, with a particular focus on electronic drums, it's my job to manage the 300+ buyer's guides on MusicRadar and help musicians find the right gear for them at the best prices. I dabble with guitar, but my main instrument is the drums, which I have been playing for 24 years. I've been a part of the music gear industry for 20 years, including 7 years as Editor of the UK's best-selling drum magazine Rhythm, and 5 years as a freelance music writer, during which time I worked with the world's biggest instrument brands including Roland, Boss, Laney and Natal.
