Paul McCartney Vegas gig sells out in 7 seconds

19 April sees Paul McCartney play a one-off intimate gig in Las Vegas. Ticket sales opened on 14 February and sold out… seven seconds later.

Macca's in Vegas to celebrate the opening of the New Joint at the Hard Rock Café And Casino. The venue holds 4000 fans so, if our calculations are correct, that's 571.4 seats per second.

Take That hold the official record for fastest-selling tour, shifting 600,000 tickets in four-and-a-half hours. That's approximately 37 seats per second. Sir Paul wins.
