Nirvana's legendary performance at the 1992 Reading Festival has been YouTubed till the cows come home. There was even an unofficial bootleg of the set, Life Takes No Prisoners, that was released last May.

Well, now the real McCoy is coming, Nirvana Live At Reading, a official CD/DVD that will be issued on 2 November.

The DVD is said to contain footage such as this (see below, though we hope it's better quality), in which Kurt Cobain, reacting to rumors of his ill health and drug addiction, jokingly came out in a wheelchair.

Fans have the option of buying the deluxe CD/DVD or CD-only and DVD-only versions. On 16 November, a double 12-inch vinyl version will be made available.

I pause, and look at the part of the video where Kurt hits the ground ....and lies there...i've seen that before - oh yeah, it was on April 9th, 1994...a picture of Kurts legs and shoes - lying there... on the cover of every newspaper worldwide. and as i watch this, i wonder....is that how he hit the ground April 4th? i sure hate that he's gone - but i he was giving signs of his departure for many years prior to his suicide. i hope he now R.I.P.
