Jack White Disowns Coke's Bond Commercial
frontman Jack White has voiced his disappointment that excerpts of his new Bond song have been used in a TV advert for Coke Zero.
An instrumental cut of Another Way To Die, White's duet with R&B chantreuse Alicia Keys, features in an ad for the re-branded Coke Zero Zero 7 as part of a co-promotion with the new Bond film 'Quantum Of Solace'.
A statement from his management said: "Jack White was commissioned by Sony Pictures to write a theme song for the James Bond film 'Quantum Of Solace', not for Coca Cola. Any other use of the song is based on decisions made by others, not by Jack White. We are disappointed that you first heard the song in a co-promotion for Coke Zero, rather than in its entirety".
