Any Drumtech Diary fans among you will remember the touching tribute that former Diary scribe Phil Casey wrote for his fellow Drumtech student Stephen Newman, who was tragically killed in a car accident, back in the August 2005 issue of Rhythm.
Stephen's family have now set up the Stephen Newman memorial scholarship in his memory. The scholarship is for one place on the One-Year Drumtech Diploma (starting 1 October, 2007) and will go to a talented and deserving student who would not normally be able to undertake such a course.
