Brimming with the sounds of the classic EMU sound module of the same name, Proteus 2000 is absolutely stuffed with over 1000 workstation-style patches that sound almost as fresh today as they did in the 90s.
Although many of the patches suffer in comparison to their modern equivalents, there's still a huge amount of useful material packed away in this cheap and cheerful collection.
Highlights include some great drum kits, strings, wind instruments and keyboard sounds. Worth considering for value-conscious sound connoisseurs.
