Christophe Godin: Vigier guitar masterclasses

Kartoon of a man: Christophe Godin
Kartoon of a man: Christophe Godin

Christophe Godin, the French guitarist best known for his work with Metal Kartoon and The Mörgibl Trio, is a colourful chap. Not only does he look like a wrestler (his own words), but he's an electric guitar expert in every style from metal to jazz fusion.

He's not a bad teacher either (check out this tutorial on slap guitar), but sadly you'd have to be fluent in French to understand his quirky yet instructive lessons. That is, up until now.

Guitar manufacturer Vigier UK has teamed up with Christophe Godin to present a series of guitar clinics in the up and down the United Kingdom, and MusicRadar presumes he'll be sharing his insight in English. According to Vigier, Godin's clinics stateside went down very well indeed, so if you're interested, give one of the numbers below a call.

The clinics will take place on:

Monday 22nd Sept - Machinehead, Hitchin - 01462 433 305
Tuesday 23rd Sept - Oxford Guitar Gallery, Oxford - 01865 553 777
Wednesday 24th Sept - World Guitars, Stonehouse - 08707 66 76 25
