Guitar lessons: In this quick chord lesson we're taking notes from one of the contemporary rhythm kings of electric guitar; the Strat-toting funkmaster Cory Wong.
The A7 and Dm7 shapes shown here are typical barre chords used a lot in funk – hopefully you recognise them! When Cory plays them, he’ll target two or three strings, giving a lighter sound and making room for other instruments to breathe.
