Rumour: Megadeth to recruit new guitarist
As any Megadeth fan will know, the band is a revolving door of personnel with chief songwriter Dave Mustaine the only original member after the controversial departure of bassist Dave 'Junior' Ellefson a few years ago.
Now numerous internet whispers are suggesting lead guitarist Glen Drover is exiting the Mega-building due to 'family' reasons to be replaced by Chris Broderick of Nevermore and Jag Panzer fame.
More news when we have it but as you can see from the clip below showcasing a 'five-octave arpeggio' - filmed for our American sister magazine Guitar World's CD - that boy Broderick sure can play.
.
By the way, five-octave arpgeggios are easy - we do them in our sleep. Ahem.
