Example 1: This pattern shows the basic pattern that Brad derives his double down up licks from.
Example 2: This example extends the basic pattern across the neck and uses an alternate picked sequence (last two notes of bar 1 and first two notes of bar 2) to connect the two halves of the lick.
Example 3: The best way to approach this monster lick is to break it down into manageable one- bar chunks. Remember, Brad is master of this technique so it may take you a while to reach his speeds. Start slowly and work on maintaining accuracy.
