Cornbury Festival '09 Announces Eclectic Line Up

British popsters Scouting For Girls and punk legends The Damned headline an eclectic line-up at this year's Cornbury Festival in the Cotwolds on 11 and 12 July.


Now in its sixth year, the two-day festival will also feature performances from acoustic 'belle du jour' Imelda May, alt rockers The Magic Numbers and Chrissie Hynde-fronted The Pretenders.

"Where else could you see The Damned and the Sugababes on one bill?!" says promoter Hugh Phillimore.


The all-age festival in beautiful Cotswold surroundings also has fantastic food, hot air balloons, morris dancers, children´s theatre workshops and a huge fairground - it's all so typically English! Eccentric, eclectic and electric!
