World's Greatest Drummer concert: Full details
You may have already seen initial details for the 2009 World's Greatest Drummer concert which takes place on Sunday 4 October at the Lichfeld Garrick Theatre, but we now take great pleasure in providing everything you need to know about this fantastic event!
The concert, in association with Palmerlive Concerts and now in its third year, will feature some of the UK's finest drum talent including: Steve White (Paul Weller, Trio Valore); Neal Wilkinson (James Morrison, UK Session Artist); Jeremy Stacey (Sheryl Crow, UK Session Artist); Karl Brazil (Robbie Williams, UK Session Artist); Pete Cater (Pete Cater Big Band); Roy Adams (Roy Wood, Climax Blues Band); and Ian Palmer (Georgie Fame, UK Session Artist). The show will also feature The World´s Greatest Drummer Big Band with Todd Gordon on vocals.

Throughout the evening the band and drummers will perform the music that made legendary drummers including Buddy Rich and Louie Bellson define the modern drumset for generations to come. The event will also be supporting the Teenage Cancer Trust so it's certainly a worthy cause to be giving your dosh to!
