Tattooed drum celeb Barker 'bigs up' our Geoff Nicholls!
With Blink 182 back together we at Rhythm have being following Travis Barker on Twitter for some time now with rabid interest.
Aside from the usual rehearsal room pics (featuring an obscene number of broken sticks), setlists and tour news we were amazed by his latest Tweet in which he praises The Drum Book: A History Of the Rock Drum Kit, written by Rhythm's own Geoff Nicholls! Not a bad plug, eh Geoff?
The book is a worthy addition to any drummer's collection and has recently received an update. You can check it out HERE.
In the latest Blink news, the band last week announced a US Summer Tour with Weezer and Fall Out Boy that will kick off on July 24 and will run until October. After that, who knows? We'd vote for UK dates next. We love Travis' hip-hop material, but his warp-speed singles and punk rock flair have been missed!
In other new, if you're on Twitter then watch this space as we'll have our own profile soon.
