Kaiser Chief starts record label

Things may have been a little quiet on the Kaiser Chiefs front, but behind the scenes drummer Nick Hodgson has been busy working on a new record label he is launching with his girlfriend Anna, called Chewing Gum. They are yet to sign any bands yet, but Hodgson is on the lookout for the next big thing.

He told Teletext's Planet Sound: "We haven't signed anyone yet, but we're going to a load of gigs looking for potential bands. I hope we can find someone while I've got some time on my hands, now that the Kaisers are on a break."
