Award-winning percussionist, Dave Danford is preparing for a busy schedule of solo tours in 2008, the first of which begins at the Royal Northern College of Music on Sunday 3 February 2008. This will be the Ralph Vaughan Williams tribute tour commemorating the 50th anniversary of his passing.
The second tour is based around solo recitals, featuring Dave´s regular accompanist Nicola Rose and Saxophonist Joel Garthwaite. The third builds on Dave´s previous brass band solo appearances, which in 2007 included Burry Port Town Band, RWCMD Band in Residence and British Open Brass Band Champions - Cory Band and Tredegar Town Band.
