Amp-modelling maestros Line 6 has released the JM-4 Looper stompbox at Frankfurt Musikmesse 2008. The JM-4 combines a wide palette of guitar sounds with 100+ jam tracks performed by world-renowned studio musicians.
Jamming credits include Jason Bonham, Tony Franklin, Carmine Appice and Gregg Bissonette. Twelve original Line 6 amp models and seven guitar effects sit along-side the artist-created presets.
Line 6 are marketing the JM-4 as an ideal tool for practise, song writing and 'on-the-fly' onstage recording. Built-in sound-on-sound loop recording allows players to layer guitar, bass and - thanks to the balanced XLR microphone input - even vocal tracks.
The JM-4 Looper stompbox has an RRP of $329.99.
