Seems like old times...again
Seems like old times...again

As stated by Gene Simmons, KISS might have abandoned plans to record new albums, but that doesn't mean they won't rerecord their own songs.

DefSTAR Records/Sony Music Japan is releasing KISS Jigoku-Retsuden, a KISS greatest hits CD featuring all-new versions of 15 KISS classics

The tracks were recently recorded and feature Paul Stanley, Gene Simmons and current substitute members Eric Singer and Tommy Thaler. The CD is scheduled to be released in Japan on August 27. A limited edition version of the CD is also being released, and includes a bonus KISSOLOGY DVD with live footage from KISS' legendary 1977 performance at Budokan.

The tracklisting for KISS Jigoku-Retsuden is as follows:

Detroit Rock City
Shout It Out Loud
Hotter Than Hell
Calling Dr. Love
Love Gun
I Was Made For Loving You
Heaven's On Fire
Lick It Up
I Love It Loud
Christine Sixteen
Do You Love Me

What, no Cold Gin? Somebody tell those guys to get back to the studio, pronto!
