If mash-ups are the sincerest form of flattery, then Jay-Z must feel tickled pink at the newest audio collage in his honor. This one is called Jaydiohead, and it pairs him with those cerebral rockers from Oxfordshire.
Jaydiohead is the brainchild of a New York City DJ who calls himself Minty Fresh, and it matches songs from Jay-Z's Black Album and American Gangster with numbers from Radiohead classics such as OK Computer, Kid A and In Rainbows.
The resulting tracks have titles like 99 Anthems, No Karma, Dirt Off Your Android and Lucifer's Jigsaw. They're astounding and hilarious, and they can be downloaded right here.
Jay-Z is the mash-up king
Jaydiohead is but the latest mash honor bestowed to Jay-Z. First there was the Grey Album from Danger Mouse, which combined lyrics from Jay's Black Album with the music of The Beatles' "White Album."
Then last year we had OJayZis: Jay-Z vs Oasis, a mixtape from a trio of Spanish producers called Cookin' Soul, which Cuisinarted some of Jay's greatest hits with those from Oasis.
This begat Viva La Hova, a musical mash of mutual admirers Jay-Z and Coldplay. So far, there's no word from guitarist Joe Satriani (or his lawyers) on the project, but we're likely to hear something.

Joe is a freelance journalist who has, over the past few decades, interviewed hundreds of guitarists for Guitar World, Guitar Player, MusicRadar and Classic Rock. He is also a former editor of Guitar World, contributing writer for Guitar Aficionado and VP of A&R for Island Records. He’s an enthusiastic guitarist, but he’s nowhere near the likes of the people he interviews. Surprisingly, his skills are more suited to the drums. If you need a drummer for your Beatles tribute band, look him up.
