Is another Guns N' Roses album on the way?

There's no tour yet to speak of, no new video, and with Chinese Democracy continuing its downward trend on the charts, Axl Rose has yet to give a proper interview to promote it. But there might be a new album.

Yes, you read correctly. A new album by Guns N' Roses could be on the way.

So says Axl Rose, who recently took to a GN'R fan site and indicated that a new disc could be "soon," confirming that 15 years' worth of recording has left him with more than enough material to warrant another release.

However, the mercurial singer added that "For now we'll concentrate and keep our focus on this album but I will say I've always thought of it as a double."

Axl vs Slash and Duff

"You've been told a lot of things in order for others to promote themselves that factually they cannot back up" Axl Rose, responding to a lawsuit by Slash and Duff McKagan

In the same Q&A session with fans, Rose responded to the long, ongoing court battle between him and former bandmates Slash and Duff McKagan (this relates to a lawsuit in which the two have accused Rose of trying to cheat them out of royalties to the Guns N' Roses back catalog).

"What I can say now is you've been told a lot of things in order for others to promote themselves that factually they cannot back up in regard to either...They are complicated legally, financially and have devoured a good portion of my life."

Well, OK. That sure clears that up.
