When we think of California, we think of hangin' ten on the waves, then strummin' some boss tunes with Frankie and Annette at a clambake beach party. Well, not really. But the new Fender California Series Sonoran SCE could get us there.

Here's an acoustic-electric guitar with a soft C-shaped maple neck and Strat headstock - very cool, indeed. Features include vintage-style machine heads, exclusive vintage inspired pickguards, and a dreadnought design that screams Fender.

A solid spruce top offers a warm, punchy tone, and the Fender-designed cutaway dreadnought body has a tighter upper bout - this makes for a very comfortable fit. If you're a dedicated electric player who never took to the feel of an acoustic, this Fender could be worth investigating.
