However, this year, the well-heeled amongst you might be interested in the Chanel Guitar.
Debuted at the Paris Spring 2009 Fashion Week - which confusingly took place last month - the sexy black nylon string acoustic retails for a mere £2800.
We're not sure what the origin of manufacture is, but one notable feature is the unusual forearm contour that this shot illustrates:
