Ion unveils a triple-whammy of edrums
Studio, Sound and Pro Session electronic kits
Sometimes, one Ion Audio release a day just isn't enough: how about three more. Introducing a brand new line of electronic drum sets called Studio Session, Sound Session and Pro Session.
The Studio kit is the entry-level model with four drum pads, two cymbals and a pair of foot pedals. The Sound Session is exactly the same but comes complete with a "studio-quality" sound module.
Technical spec on the press release is thin, to say the least, but both kits are Mac and PC compatible with MP3 export functionality as you'd expect.
The Pro Session sounds like a big step-up in terms of build-quality and durability with larger drum pads, a heavy gauge aluminium rack and swinging cymbal pads.
Prices and availability are set to be announced later in 2009, although Ion does promise "a new level of quality at an old-fashioned price." Watch this space, then.
