Mogwai Pacemaker’s Pacemaker Up For Auction!

Following Mogwai drummer Martin Bulloch’s surgery to have his new pacemaker fitted this week, his bandmate, frontman Stuart Braithwaite, has announced the band’s plan to auction off the sticksman’s previous pacemaker.
"Martin has in the last few hours come out of surgery [for] fitting a new pacemaker,” Braithwaite has written on the band’s website, www.mogwai.co.uk. “As happened last time we will have a charity auction for his old one with the proceeds going to the British Heart Foundation. Details will follow in the next few days. Get well soon Martin!”
The Glaswegian post-rockers recently played Scotland’s Connect Festival, to rave reviews. All at Rhythm wish Martin a speedy recovery, and hope to see the Young Team back on the road soon!
