VirSyn VTAPE brings the analog tape sound to Mac and PC

Say hello to Saturator and Delay
Say hello to Saturator and Delay

VirSyn is the latest company to release software that emulates the much sought after sound of analog tape. The new VTAPE bundle features two plug-ins: Saturator and Delay.

VTAPE Saturator is designed to recreate the sound of a vintage analog tape mastering machine. Features include tape saturation and compression, tape hiss, wow and flutter and EQ. Zero-latency operation is promised, and the simple single-page interface should enable easy operation.

VTAPE Delay is based on VTAPE Saturator but adds a step-sequencer style delay pattern input. The delay can be tempo-synced (with up to 32 taps) and you'll also find a stereo rotation effect and a loop filter. Again, there's zero-latency operation and an easy-to-use single-page interface.

VTAPE is available now for Mac and PC and will run in your VST, AudioUnits or RTAS host. An introductory offer means that it can be yours for €99 until November 30 and it'll be priced at €169 thereafter.
