Reason 5 and Record 1.5 to offer Blocks mode

New pattern-based sequencing approach revealed

Propellerhead Software has unveiled the second new feature in its forthcoming Reason 5 and Record 1.5 updates: Blocks mode.

This enables you to build up sections of songs (eg, intro, verse, chorus, solo) and then arrange them to form complete tracks. The contents of blocks are visible in the standard Song mode, and changes you make to any of them will be reflected in all copies.
