At Guitarist, we're fortunate to be able to get hold of the newest gear first. But we feel we must share with you the sheer magnificence that is the new nylon-strung Variax Acoustic model. It´s just landed and is absolutely, fist-clenchingly, finger-kissingly, ear-caressingly excellent!

If there´s even the slightest bit of classical, Spanish or flamenco in your style, you need this guitar: it´s a doddle to set up, it´s great to play and sounds…well, you´ll have wait until the review, slated for issue 284, but it´ll blow your socks clean off.

Really, if there´s one addition to your live or studio set-up needs, it´s this guitar: be told.
