John Jorgenson reveals the secrets of the Django Reinhardt sound
John Jorgenson was not only a member of the Hellecasters and guitar sideman to Elton John, but also one of the pioneers of the American Gypsy Jazz movement.
He has twice been asked to recreate the music of Django Reinhardt for the feature films Gattica, and Head In The Clouds. The latter even saw Jorgenson in character playing Django himself on the silver screen.
