Hundreds of classic rock fans will invade the picturesque village of Lindos on the Greek island of Rhodes for Rhodesrock09, between 17-24 June.
The weeklong festival will be celebrating the music of Led Zeppelin, Thin Lizzy, Jimi Hendrix, ZZ Top, Free, Bad Company, Pink Floyd, Foreigner and Journey.
A welcome party is being held at a local hotel to set the mood of the week on 18 June, where three bands will be playing sets in the hotel gardens.
The sun-drenched festival is aimed at classic rock fans of any age, promoting a friendly, entertaining week of music, provided by the best tribute acts on the European scene. Bands already confirmed to pay tribute to some of the world´s biggest acts, at St Paul´s Bay in Lindos include: Letz Zep, Limehouse Lizzy, Are You Experienced?, The ZZ Tops, Free Spirit, Think Floyd and A Foreigners Journey.
RhodesRock09 can also boast about their beach party and BBQ, again with live music, sea, sun and sand on 22 June. A welcome change from the usual mud-infested fields of most festivals.
