Legendary jazz drummer Buddy Rich died on 2 April 1987 at the age of 69 leaving a massive void in the drum world. Twenty years on and almost to the date, a special, one night only concert will take place in celebration of his life and work.
On 1 April this year Anglia Drum Centre will present an evening devoted to the great music and brumming of Buddy Rich at Peter Jay's Hippodrome Circus in Great Yarmouth.
This special Concert will feature The Pete Cater Big Band from London plus some very special guests including two members of the Buddy Rich Orchestra Jay Craig and Bob Martin, plus Jack Parnell, a personal friend of Buddys .
