Director Sacha Gervasi, who used to be ANVIL´s roadie, decided to make the documentary about the band´s founding members, Steve ‘Lips´ Kudlow and Robb Reiner, after he was moved by their lifelong dedication and ambition towards a distant dream.

This is a film that will undoubtedly raise many laughs throughout, with plenty of ‘80s hair metal clichés, along with the humorous personalities of Kudlow and Reiner. ANVIL The Story promises to be an entertaining documentary, not just for metal fans, but all musicians who know how hard it is to be in a band, striving for success.
